Based in London and the South-East of England, Rachel is a qualified DIR Practitioner. Her experience across local and international contexts has shaped a flexible, relational approach to supporting individuals with complex communication needs.
We understand communication holistically – not as isolated skills, but as something that develops through connection, context and everyday interaction.
*(Developmental Individual Difference Relationship based Model)
We look beyond isolated skills to understand:
· How sensory and emotional regulation shape communication
· How posture, respiration and motor patterns support engagement
· How reciprocity and social awareness unfold over time
· How language planning, sequencing and problem-solving emerge in real interactions
Rachel works in alliance with parents, caregivers and other professionals to meet the needs of the child. She believes that the parent-child relationship is at the heart of the therapy – the way in which a child interacts with their family lays the groundwork for the way they interact with the world around them.
